Synopsis

Spider-Man is falling to his doom to the traffic below. Luckily, he is able to use his webs to swing away. Unfortunately, Spider-Woman, under the control of Mandrill, attacks him. He is unable to combat her aggressive side. When it seemed that she defeated him, Mandrill and Griffin go for a closer look.  Suddenly, the former's mouth is seal shut with webbing, before Spider-Woman punches and zaps him. However, Spidey prevents Spider-Woman from killing the two villains. He tells them that they got to leave them where they are and call the press before the police lock them up.  Meanwhile, two H.A.M.M.E.R. agents at the former Avengers hideout are debating on whether to call for reinforcements. One of them tries look at the battle with the two Captain Americas and the Living Laser, only to have his head blasted off. The next thing the other knows, a hand punches him in the face. The attacker is revealed to be Luke Cage, who ambushes the Living Laser. Bucky then hits the Living Laser with an electrical wire, seemingly destroying him. As they rejoice in their victory, Cage recognizes Steve Rogers and welcomes back his fellow Avengers. Then suddenly, he notices a red dot on Rogers' chest. The dot is actually a targeting vector, coming from Nick Fury, holding a gun. The ex-Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. says a code phrase to see if they are Life Model Decoys. Rogers assures his old war buddy that it is indeed him. However, a H.A.M.M.E.R. assault squad has arrived and begins attacking. Luckily, with the Secret Warriors behind their backs, the Avengers fend off H.A.M.M.E.R. and escaped to their safehouse. Jessica Jones and Ms. Marvel are shocked to see Rogers. The latter, however, is skeptical, until Rogers whistles something into her ear that make her embrace him.   Unfortunately, a TV shows that Osborn is attacking Asgard and had brought down Thor. Angry, Rogers declares Avengers Assemble.
